Nursery care: Cuna más

We contribute to the development and training of sensory capacities of the children of the Chapairá community thanks to the Day Care Center "Cuna más," which offers food and physical, cognitive and emotional stimulation while the parents work. With this program we have achieved that 80% of child users who presented anemia have come out of the risk situation, in addition approximately 90% of children detected with low weight, have achieved their ideal weight thanks to the food and nutrition service.

To date, more than 700 children have benefited from the program. 

To guarantee the quality and effectiveness of the project, Ecosac has signed an Inter-institutional Cooperation Agreement between the Wawa Wasi National Program of the Ministry of Women and Social Development and the Provincial Municipality of Piura.
