Bamboo forest: Reforestation areas and creation of new habitats

There is a bamboo forest which is irrigated with treated water in the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant - PTARI using the flood technique.

Bamboo is a fast growing plant unlike others that take 10 to 20 years, bamboo does so in approximately 4 years contributing to the generation of oxygen and the balance of the atmosphere, among its properties is to retain for more time the water and allows cooler temperatures creating a favorable microclimate for microorganisms and wildlife while maintaining the stability of habitats.
